William D. Nordhaus

William D. Nordhaus is the Sterling Professor of Economics and Professor of Forestry and Environmental Studies at Yale University. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2018 for his work integrating climate change into economic analysis. He is the author of many books, among them Invention, Growth and Welfare, Is Growth Obsolete?, and (joint with Paul Samuelson) the classic textbook Economics, whose nineteenth edition was published in 2009.
