Kevin D. Dumouchelle joined the National Museum of African Art in October 2016 after a decade as a curator for the Brooklyn Museum. He has written widely on contemporary and historical African art, including the book Power Incarnate: Allan Stone’s Collection of Sculpture from the Congo.
