Physiological and Biochemical Zoology has presented current research in environmental, adaptational, and comparative animal physiology and biochemistry since 1928. PBZ publishes peer-reviewed results of original investigations in animal physiology and biochemistry at all levels of organization, from the molecular to the organismic, focusing on adaptations to the environment. PBZ covers a wide range of subdisciplines, with a specific emphasis on studies that investigate the ecological and/or evolutionary aspects of physiological and biochemical mechanisms.
