Eighteen papers all presented at the XVI International Botanical Congress in St. Lousi, Missouri, in August 1999 with the primary objective of examining the phylogenetic relationships of Papilionoideae and the relationships in Caesalpiniodeae and Mimosoideae by evaluating and analysing diverse sources of characters.
