Celebrating the launch of the Neubauer Collegium for Culture and Society at the University of Chicago, South African artist William Kentridge, whose internationally acclaimed body of work is explored in the new book That Which Is Not Drawn (Seagull Books), will deliver a lecture on his new film for Schubert's song cycle "Wintereisse," to be shown at the Vienna Festival next year.

Accompanied by pianist Craig Terry, music director of the Lyric Opera of Chicago's Ryan Opera Center, and tenor John Irvin.

The Neubauer Collegium for Culture and Society at the University of Chicago, presents South African artist William Kentridge, whose internationally acclaimed body of work is explored in the new book That Which Is Not Drawn (Seagull Books), in discussion with writer, curator, and scholar Jane Taylor.

A screening of Kentridge's short film, "Ubu Tells the Truth," precedes the discussion.
