Willard W. Waller on the Family, Education, and War

William J. Goode is professor of sociology at Columbia University. He is author of World Revolution and Family Patterns, Methods in Sociological Research, and The Family, as well as many other books, and has contributed numerous articles on work, family, and role theory to professional journals. Frank Furstenberg, Jr., is currently on leave from the National Institute of Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice to conduct a study on public fear of crime. Larry R. Mitchell is assistant professor in the Department of Sociology at Rutgers University.
