Subjects: Law (Constitutional law; comparative law; law and economics; legal history; philosophy of law); linguistics
I acquire manuscripts in law and in linguistics, complementing the University of Chicago’s departmental strength in these fields and acquire for the new series, Chicago Studies in Linguistics. I’m interested in books that help us understand the rules we live by, our methods for governing ourselves, the ways we communicate with one another. Important new titles include Restitution: Civil Liability for Unjust Enrichment and The Atlantic Divide in Antitrust: An Examination of US and EU Competition Policy.
Previously I acquired professional books and texts in librarianship and information science for the American Library Association’s publishing program. I hold an undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago and a master’s in library and information science from the University of Illinois.
