Subjects: Life sciences (conservation biology, ecology, evolution, microbiology)
I acquire new manuscripts in evolutionary biology, microbiology, ecology, and conservation biology. Recent highlights from these lists include Planet of the Bugs: Evolution and the Rise of Insects, In Search of Cell History: The Evolution of Life’s Building Blocks, Animal Body Size: Linking Pattern and Process across Space, Time, and Taxonomic Group, Population Fluctuations in Rodents, Invasive Species in a Globalized World: Ecological, Social, and Legal Perspectives on Policy, and Large Carnivore Conservation: Integrating Science and Policy in the North American West.
I am also proud to sponsor our Summits: Environmental Science, Law, and Policy book series, whose inaugural title is Stitching the West Back Together: Conservation of Working Landscapes.
I joined Chicago in 2011 after collaborating on a wide variety of books at Princeton University Press. Prior to my time at Princeton, I received a PhD in English Literature from The University of Texas at Austin and spent a year as an editorial fellow at The University of Texas Press.
I am ably assisted by Evan White, Editorial Associate.
