Spring 2013 Catalog Schedule

9 July 2012:

LIST OF TITLES DUE

Full count of new books to UCP on Title List spreadsheet.   Please fill in the ISBN, author, title, format (cloth and/or paper), type (new, previously published/second edition, back-in-print, etc.).   Please indicate any big, important, or breakthrough-type books.

Also, please let us know if you do not plan to include any new books in the catalog.  Please include only titles that have been approved for publication/are in production and will almost certainly deliver during the Spring 2013 season.  It is better to hold a book for a season than to announce it too early.

 

   
1 August 2012:

FINAL TIS FORM DUE

Complete information to UCP, including  estimated US delivery date/month – date when the books will arrive at our warehouse - collation, trim size, price, discount, illustration count (please estimate), descriptive copy, contributor bios, affiliation data, Endorsements/reviews, Sales points, Competition. Also, if you could let us know which books will have covers and/or accompanying illustrations, it would help us a great deal in organizing our layout.

 

 

23 September 2012:

CATALOG COPY SENT FOR YOUR APPROVAL

 

3 October 2012:

COVERS/JACKETS/ILLUSTRATIONS DUE

cover/jacket designs, illustrative material to UCP.

Please send high-res, 300 dpi, full-size images in pdf or jpeg format only.

 

17-21 October 2012:

.pdf proofs of designed pages sent for your review. Please try to turn these around as fast as possible.

 

31 October 2012:

Catalog goes to the Printer.
